What does the registration fee include?

The registration fee includes 5 meals (Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch), 2 nights lodging, conference T-shirt, program and facilities, and a 2-hour boat cruise that concludes the weekend.

Who sponsors this event?

The International Student & Scholar Conference is planned and sponsored by representatives of Woman’s Missionary Union of North Carolina, Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina, North Carolina Baptists on Mission, Chowan University, Gardner-Webb University, International Campus Ministries of the Triad, and Piedmont International Fellowship.

Is transportation provided?

Each person registered is responsible for his/her own transportation. Many folks register as a group and travel together in vans or buses. There are groups that will attend from the triangle, triad, and metrolina areas as well as various colleges and universities across the state.

Where is the conference held?

The conference is held at the Fort Caswell Coastal Retreat and Conference Center located at 100 Caswell Beach Road, Oak Island, NC 28465. This civil war fort is near Southport between Wilmington and Myrtle Beach. Oak Island is one of the barrier islands on the North Carolina Coast.

The International Student & Scholar Conference is designed to bring international students and scholars attending North Carolina Colleges and Universities together for a weekend of dialogue, relationship and friendship building. We believe in hospitality, fellowship, and conversation.
